Frith is partly inspired by sunflowers and partly inspired by Frith, the sun as depicted in the 1978 animation Watership Down.
Frith means peace and security in Old English.
Frith is a made to measure or recipe pattern in US terms, aimed at experienced made to measure makers or those with an adventurous spirit.
Frith is richly patterned with many stitch patterns that keep the brain interested. It’s perfect for scraps and left over scrap yarn as it’s designed for multiple colour changes.
This is a measure along pattern, not graded, so there will be measuring and calculations to be done. You can use any yarn or fibre or hook you desire. There are instructions for adding sleeves and other ideas for modifications.
The pattern is 30+ pages long and features lots of photos and step by step instructions. There is also a link within the pattern to a printer friendly version and videos.
